Terry's Home Day Care is licensed in the State of Indiana to have a maximum capacity of 16 children, aged 0 through 12 years of age. We are associated and accredited by many different local, state and national agencies. Currently:

We are a Level IV Provider with Paths To Quality , a comprehensive system created to raise the level of quality care children receive and provide support to children, parents and providers.

Our facility is one of only 39 in the state of Indiana that have received National Accreditation with the NAFCC (National Association of Family Child Care) which is the voice for family childcare at the national level.

We are sponsored by the ECA (Early Childhood Alliance) for association with the Federal Food Program, CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) , which enables us to provide nutritious meals and snacks to all children in our care.

Terry's Home Day Care is committed to making sure your child is safe and secure at all times. Your child's safety is our highest priority. One of the things we do to ensure this, is thorough employee screening. All employees must undergo extensive screening and training prior to being hired, and to maintain their position with our agency. Each prospective employee is subject to a thorough background investigation and physical examination including, but not limited to:

A Criminal History Investigation

A Complete Physical Examination

Drug screening--mandatory for hire and all employees are subject to random screens while employeed with us.

We require that all employees hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be trained in: First Aid, CPR, Universal Precautions, Sanitation, and Nutrition. They must also have, or be enrolled in, continuing education for early childhood development. Each employee is required to obtain at least 90 credit hours of continuing education credits every three years.
